Beclometasone+CLOTRIMAZOLE+NEOMYCIN is a dermatological medication primarily used to treat various fungal and bacterial skin infections. It treats skin inflammation due to allergies or irritants, eczema (inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough skin patches), psoriasis (skin cells multiply rapidly to form bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales), ringworm, athlete‚s foot, jock itch, insect bites and stings. Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow in the body and causes illness. Fungal infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. This medication is not recommended for children younger than 17 years or for diaper rash.

It is not for oral, ophthalmic (eye) or intravaginal use. Do not use it on open wounds, blisters and lesions. Do not put dressing or bandage on the affected area since it increases the risk of side effects. Please check with your doctor before using it, if you have pituitary gland diseases, cataract or glaucoma, diabetes, liver and kidney diseases. Topical use of corticosteroids (Beclometasone) may sometimes cause systemic immunosuppression while treating infections. This condition may worsen the infections; hence Beclometasone+CLOTRIMAZOLE+NEOMYCIN should be carefully used with patients with active infections.

It has common side effects as every medicine does. Although not everybody gets them, some side effects of include burning, irritation, itching and redness at the application site. These side effects usually go away during the treatment. However, if you notice any excessive hair growth, skin thinning or discolouration, acne, stretch marks and hair bumps (folliculitis), please consult your doctor.
